I myself won’t read anything from Arianna Huffington a godless liberal from Western Europe. She’s a socialist know-nothing. I also know about what’s going on in Oklahoma and the 30,000+ muslims who reside in OK. They want to practice their own laws instead of the prevailing law of the land, and that’s both the State and Federal laws. Incidentally those 30,000+ (but not more then 34,000) make up less then 1% of the total population of the State and the voter’s have decided that. It’s sad that muslims want to be treated above and special then the rest of society in general.
It’s the same mentality that so pervaded the homosexual community in CA, gays want to have special status in so much as to hold “special” protective status whereas, that they want to make it a criminal offence to have homosexuality be called a sin, of which; it is. The real truth Jim is that gays, lesbians, transgenders make up less then 1/10 of 1% of either the States, or National population, yet they want to shove their lifestyle down the rest of us.
You sir are a liar and will not tell the truth. I’m offended by your lifestyle and am also offended that you deserve to be treated any differently then anyone else just because you’re gay. No sir, you do not. You’re no different then anyone else and if you come out of the closet and come under fire for saying who you are. Then that comes with the territory.

And how many Christians have spouted off about being willing to disobey state and federal law when it “conflicts” with God’s law? What’s the difference? This is a solution looking for a problem, and the brilliant Tea Baggers have found it.

The voters don’t get to “decide” un-constitutional anything. Remember the courts? The third independent branch of our government? Put in place to prevent the legislative, executive, or the public from enacting and enforcing anything that violates the Constitution. Remember them? They’ve ruled against this one already.

There is no desire to have “special status”, only the demand of UNITED STATES CITIZENS to have full legal equality. That’s not “special status”, that’s taxpayers demanding equal rights. There is not a law anywhere in the United States, on the books or proposed, that makes it a criminal offense to call homosexuality a sin. If you know of any, please enlighten us. More lies from the religious wack jobs. The gay population of the United States is anywhere from 5% to 10% of the population. The range is due to how one might define “homosexual”. Recent surveys are putting figures closer to the 10% than 5%. If you can prove this 1/10 of 1% bull, please cite your source. It’s complete nonsense. You go ahead and believe the lies the right are spouting, but that’s all they are… lies.
Again, all we are demanding, as CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES (I go to caps there to remind you of that little fact) are our legal and Constitutional rights. That’s what I and others have been going on about. You and the other “christians” and right wingers have insisted, however, that we be treated as second class citizens, denied hospital visitation rights, military service, marriage rights, tax breaks given to married people… the list goes on. In fact, just at the Federal level, it’s about 1200 items long. A few years ago, people could be arrested and jailed for simply sitting at the bar of a gay club. Nothing more. Just sitting there. It’s improved, but one current example is where the Federal government will recognise the legal marriage certificate of certain citizens of Massechussets, but not other legal marriage certificates from the same state. So much for being “no different than anyone else”.
