So Great Britain sends us another quirky story to make over in our own setting. A ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf set up housekeeping in the former home of the ghost and her husband. The husband is the landlord, the ghost is trying to be seen by him, and the werewolf and the vampire are simply trying to get through each day not killing anyone.
I’ve watched the first two episodes so far, and I’m liking it. It has some dark tones, some light tones, and a good mix of clever humor.
I’ll be watching it more to see where it goes, and if they can keep it interesting. I hope it doesn’t devolve into some kind of Ghost/Vampire/Werewolf 90210 idiocy, but we’ll have to see. Good writing so far, and maybe having it’s roots in British television will help.
God save the Queen. And the hot vampire. The werewolf’s not half bad, either.
Syfy Channel, Mondays at 9 Eastern and Pacific.
