isn’t it though? This kind of view more than any other is why I’d love to be able to go into space. This gives a hint of the three dimensional view one would have from orbit, and makes the atmosphere and clouds come alive in ways that are very different from seeing them from below. It also demonstrates how thin our atmosphere is! I’ve heard it compared to the equivalent of the thickness of the peel on an apple. Not much separates us from the vacuum.
